yay!

Yay! Finally, I have gotten my first job in my life! I couldn’t be more than happier when i recieved a phonecall from them last tues!  I am going to start my work on 1st July which simply means that I have less than 1 month of holiday and free time! I can no longer wake up at 1pm and sleep at 3am.. That sounds quite depressing but I am looking forward to the new working experience and definitely, the feeling of earning my own keep!

After my graduation trip, I have been really busy with Allthingslovely. It’s been 4 months since we have started and I’m really proud to say that we have come this far. It’s really not easy to juggle between adverse fashion opinions, disagreements, schoolwork and friendship. But, we have done it all. I am really glad that I have chosen to start this shop 4 months ago with honey and ca! After my outsourcing trip in June, we are going to have a very exciting July coming up!! Whee! I really can’t wait!

Meanwhile, if you are pondering where i have disappeared to? I actually just came back from my graduation trip two weeks ago! It was a free and easy trip to australia- Melbourne, Tasmania and Sydney with Jinyuan, Kathleen, James, Glenn and Yifeng and they are perfect company! Lots of sightseeing in Tasmania, shopping and eating in Melbourne and favourite activity of all, hitting the casino in the 2 big city! Here’s a little snapshot of my exciting 2 weeks trip:

Another week to my first paper!

It’s another week to my first paper of my final semester! Seriously, I can’t wait for the exam to be over. Although I wasn’t as stressed as compared to the previous semesters as my GPA most probably will not fluctuate much, which simply means that i’m securing a second upper honors, but I can’t fail any subjects! I cannot afford to spend another sememster in NTU. Jeez.

Sigh, speaking about graduation, i am still waiting for jobs’ reply! I never knew that it is so hard to find a decent job, let alone to find a job which i really like. Oh well, i didn’t apply for many jobs either which i kind of regretted now. I should have explored more choices.. and now, i am stuck with nothing! It’s not that i’m worrying but I am just feeling dejected that no one wants to employ me! Haha! On a lighter note, I am looking forward to my graduation trip! I’ve been talking to James and Jasmine about it, and it just gets me more excited as days passed by!

Yay! I am waiting for C to come and pick me up from school now! Perhaps, a little cuddle will make me feel better!

For those who are still following my blog ( after hiatus for so long), I’m doing good and gaining a  few inches here and there!

The Pristine Affair

I seriously thought that no one reads my blog anymore because it is on hiatus for such a long time but apparently, i still have people staring at this non-updated blog regularly for the past 1 plus month. Okay, that motivates me to continue sharing my life with all of you on this little space. Tsk

For a little treat, i would like to share with all of you how did i spend my loveliest 21st birthday!

So, welcome to my 21st birthday post!

I took about a month to prepare for everything, which includes choosing the caterer, tables & chairs, coming up with the birthday theme, getting the guest list ready, thinking of decorations and sending out my invitation cards!

As i thought that this is going to be a very important event to me, which i sincerely hope that all of my friends could make it, i have decided to do it the primitive way by sending out invitation cards instead of the usual facebooking or emailing.

A big thank you to all my friends who came down specially for my birthday party! I have to say that the place isn’t easy to find, and i really appreciate that almost all of you ( at least 90%) abide to my theme! As pristine means pure, i have decided that the dress code shall be white! Okay, ( in order to stand out from the rest and for photo-taking purpose) I wore a dress in bright pink! Hee.

The beautiful night started off with a dinner at the car porch. To go along with the theme, i brought in long tables with white skirtings with white chairs! I even got some pretty white flowers and tealights to add a litle romance to the setting! Love it.

I was busy taking pictures with everyone that night!

Later, there was a surprise planned by Gina and Kanny.

They began to chase all the guys out of the house, and that left all females in the living room.

Are you ready for the surprise ( i think, most prolly that left the deepest impression in everyone’s mind)?

After the stripper stepped into the house, it didn’t take him long to get ready to terrorize me with his actions!

Halfway through his striptease, Gina kept passing me money and I was supposed to insert  those money into his pants! Goodness man! His pants looked so tight and so, I didn’t know how to squeeze the 10 bucks into his pants ( in any case, cw was watching me from the side! haha)

Halfway through the show, cw walked over and said, ” Hey, that’s my girl!” to the stripper! HAHAHA! So the stripper invited cw to take over his position instead! Haha! Okay, nothing juicy happened after that cos’ cw went back to where he was standing while the stripper continued to terrorize me.

oops! R(A)ted.

Okay, no worries. He stopped there. He didn’t continue to take down his boxer or else, i would have died. Haha. Sin wee was saying that i am going to cry ( wth, stop laughing at me because of what happened at sec 3). Haha!

After that, it was cake cutting time!

It took me a week to do this video ( when i am completely clueless on using WMM) but i am still pretty satisfied with the outcome of the video.

It was a video of 27 minutes, showing my past 21 years. I included photos and videos of the people who walked through all these years with me and put them accordingly to the years..

As the party continued to 2 am..

My 2 SUPRISES from the crazy women below:

Firstly, loh sin wee told me that she couldn’t get a flight back to singapore on the 18th and she is coming back on the 21st! Better still, she didn’t tell a single soul except for yogi. And so halfway through the party, yogi came and tell me that someone sent me flowers! I was thinking to myself, ” Who in the hell will send me flowers?”, and there i spotted one woman standing in the dark holding a bouquet of flowers. Again, I was thinking to myself, ” Which florist with the right mindset will send a girl to send flowers at such hour?”. Tada, Sin wee came running towards me like a mad woman! HAHAHAHH! No la, i was really surprised and very very happy that you made it to my birthday sweet! :)

Another stupid woman, hanniswong lied to me that she can’t come for my birthday because the only flight from phil to singapore is at 9 plus pm! ( my party was suppposed to end at 10pm).  However, she turned up at the gate at 7plus pm which really caught me off surprise! Apparently, she forgo her SIA flight for some other flight so that she can come back earlier! YAYAY! :)

Good morning world

Just came back from a christmas party at yifeng’s house! I’m almost dead beat by now.

I’ve just had my 21st birthday celebration and i would like to thank everyone who came down and made me feel so loved! I have more than 120 pictures to upload and that explains why i am still awake by now! Haha! I really had a wonderful time and of cos’ i would love to jot down every details of my birthday party so that the memories will remain forever! Will do an update of my 21st birthday and many christmas celebrations soon!

Let the good time rolls part 1

I have been staying over quite a bit at cw’s house! It’s a very nice feeling to see cw sleeping sweetly beside me when i open my eyes. This week,  I have been busy helping cw with the setting up of his ktv room and finally, it’s all done! Yay! I guess i am the most happy of all because i don’t have to pay to sing at kbox anymore and i have an extra activity to keep myself entertained while cw is gaming away at his house. 

Anyway, I have been having weird dreams about my birthday party! I had 2 so far and the dreams were really crazy. Firstly i dreamt that half of my friends turned up two weeks earlier for my birthday and there was no food, drinks, decor and whatsover. Thus, i asked them if they mind coming back two weeks later for the food and drinks! Haha! I felt so silly when i woke up from my dream. Then two days later, i dreamt that all of us turned up at the wrong venue and i was damn late in reaching my birthday party! Then there was this person who came and fetch me and told me that three malay girls were damn pissed with me cos’ i made them wait for too long! WTH! HAHAH! Then i saw my SAJC dancers doing “hollaback girls” in the hall! OMG! Then i woke up and felt so silly all over again. Kat was laughing when i told her about this! JEEZ! Planning for my own birthday is sooo tedious but I’m enjoying it! 10 more days to the day!

Today was well spent with kat! We went for a foot massage before walking around china town for yummy delicious durian pancake, prawn crackers and tang yuan. SHIOK! After which, we headed down to suntec city to prepare for her little surprise for yifeng cos’ it’s their 1 year anniversary tmr! Since it’s our holiday, we decided not to go home at such an early time. We actually took a train home to get my car and she followed me to yijun’s hall before heading down to holland village for a little drink! By the way, HAPPY 21st my dearest sexy PYJ!!!!!! Hope you like the little cake which i have got for you! Let’s look forward to a proper celebration on this coming saturday!

I have been bumming around with cw and meeting up with some of the girls for partying! I deserve a good break man!

hanni’s 21st!

It’s another Sunday night and here i am, munching on tibits while catching “one million stars” on tv! Whee! Finally, I bought my new camera today! Yay! If you have seen the state of my previous one, you will know why i need a new one! This time, I swear to take super good care of my camera so that it is going to be scratch free! I’m going to get iphone next week too.. and my dad is going to give me a VIAO for my birthday! Oh well, i always get excited with new things but I can never quit my bad habit for not taking good care of my belongings. It should be my new resolution! hopefully, all these new gadgets can be with me for a good 2 years, at least. :) HEH!

We played for a short while and yay, i won $30! After which, we stayed behind to “gossip” till 4am!  

Wednesday was well spent with jinyuan and my other ntu friends! Yay, all of us have finally finished our paper!

Jinyuan and i wandered around in town and was hoping to find a gift for eeshin! In the end, we didn’t get anything cos’ nothing seems to be suitable! ( Eeshin, can i just give you 100 kisses?). HAHA!

Then we hit Zouk with the rest! Many people were already there when it’s only 830pm! Gosh! The queue outside zouk was long. Alright, it’s an understatement. It’s VERY long! Everyone was hoping to get into phuture! I didn’t join them in the club though but we went for a dinner and drank a little outside zouk! HAHAH. CHEAPOS! We played “who-what-huh”, our favourite game of all! As usual, yao can’t wait to sabo me and get me drunk!

Read and heard about the Mumbai incident. I heard from cw’s mum that the victim is Cai Li’s law friend and she just met up with her to pass her wedding invitation last tuesday! Who will have imagine that an one night business trip to mumbai would actually turn out to be a tragedy. The loss of any terrorism is sad, and the loss of a fellow Singaporean is a pain more keenly and closely felt by every Singaporean. :( Till now, I still shudder whenever i think of the tragic event. I guess everything in life is predestined. I’m going to live today like there’s no tomorrow because i really don’t know what holds for me in the future.

Yay! Exam’s finally over!

Oh well, most of my friends are not done with their exams yet and so, work hard guys! It’ll be over on wednesday and we’ll hit zouk together and party all night

After my last paper, I headed down to Chijmes for a LG show! It was my first time working with Gina

After that, I headed to meet Hanni and Shengjuan at Orchard I had my really late dinner at Shokudo Cine then later, the both of us took a stroll down to Macdonalds to hang out while waiting for cw to pick us up

Saturday was well spent with baby and hanniswong! we headed down to dempsey to check out her birthday venue and some yummy-delicious ben and jerry before we indulge in our favourite activity of all time- MJ!!

It’s going to be a really short post cos’ i am going to concentrate on my movie now!

A perfect sunday.

I went over to cw’s place.

We spent some time on his new game.

We ate dinner at our new favourite hang-out place, HK fish steamboat.

We watched TWO movies- 10,000 BC and another show which tittle i can’t remember.

We fell asleep at his sofa.

We snuggled and talked and acted like complete dorks.

It’s night like this that prove to me that we are perfect for one another.

( Today, eeshin called me from chicago and she bought something for me! Yay! )

Happy little thoughts don’t hurt

Today is my brother’s 18th birthday, and I hope he had a great smashing birthday celebration with his friends before our family dinner treat. As usual, we are heading to our favourite japanese buffet, Kuishinbo. I simply have no idea why my parents love this place and buffet so much ( they just had a bbq on saturday and buffet at marina mandarin hotel on sunday). Yep, and they didn’t even bring me along.

Even though I always wish for an elder sister (who buys and shares all her clothes and make-up with me. Obviously, then I don’t have to spend a single sum on this very-expensive-yet-not-worth-it items. Yes, for beauty sake. Come’on all girls are vian),  I would never wish for any lesser than this brother of mine.

He is the best brother in the world.

He’s always there to listen to my endless rantings, taking care of my during my periodical menstrual cramps and massaging my neck and shoulders without much complaints (of cos!)

Today, i was all geared up with my mani/pedi set with the intention of painting my nails bright pink and of course, not forgetting those diamantes which I can’t wait to stick on those nails! However after i switched on the tv, the tv program ( barney and friends on channel 5) somehow triggered a huge surge of creative juices and made me wanna plan my birthday party which is going to be on the 20th dec! Nah, I am not going to incorporate a “barney and friends” theme for my birthday! I curled up in front of my lappy and started on the search for a good catering service and penning down the invitation list. It got me really excited as I was fantasizing about the beautiful setting of my birthday party! Oh well, it’s never hurts to fantasize and dream.. okay i shall not elaborate further before you all start giggling over my stupid and so-not-down-to-earth ideas.

Enough about my boring monday, it’s time to get changed for dinner!

I can’t wait to lay my hands on Salmon Sashimi!
